How to Cook the Perfect Soft Boiled Quails Egg
Now you really don't have to be a brain surgeon to cook the perfect soft boiled quail egg, just follow a few simple rules and the jobs a goodun.
1. Cook them in batches of 6-8 at a time so as not to cool the water to much.
2, Get the water to a rolling boil,
3. Use a slotted spoon and lower in between 8-12 eggs & cook for EXACTLY 2 MINUTES not a second longer.
4. Remove the eggs with a slotted spoon and place in a bowl under cold running water and cool as quickly as possible to stop the cooking process.
5. To make peeling them slightly easier, try placing them in to the fridge until cooled and then tap them all over and peel.
Don't overcrowd the pan, 12 quail eggs will happily sit on a medium sized pan with enough water to cover all the eggs. Make sure your eggs go into boiling water
Cool the eggs down under water to be able to peel the shells off. The shells can be tricky to remove, so take your time with them.
For Hard Boiled Quails Eggs: Place Quails Eggs in boiling water for 4 minutes. Drain, rinse under cold tap and peel off shells to serve.
